Coos Bay non-profit offering family services to hold April 22 fundraiser
COOS BAY, Ore. -- A non-profit program in Coos Bay is working to keep families together and prevent child abuse in the community.
South Coast Family Harbor offers services to families including classes for parents and others about resources for food and baby supplies.
While they get some grant funding, their annual fundraiser plays a big role in keeping the program going.
"I know at least 50 percent of our budget that is met by the early learning division is matched by community effort," said executive director Leslie Mason.
That fundraiser is Saturday, April 22, at The Social in Coos Bay.
Tickets are $65 per person and $120 for couples.
It includes a buffet dinner.
Ticket information is on the South Coast Family Harbor website.
