Coos Bay structure fire on July 4 still under investigation
COOS BAY, Ore. -- A Fourth of July structure fire in Coos Bay is still under investigation.
The building caught fire Tuesday night around 7:30.
Coos Bay Fire Chief Mark Anderson says the building sustained significant damage.
He says the fire started outside the building and worked its way in, adding that fireworks may have been involved.
However, at this point, they don't know if it was an intentional or accidental incident.
The structure was owned by Charleston Marina Complex. They said the building was empty.
