DA: This man is 'Person of Interest' in Oregon homicide
MYRTLE POINT, Ore. -- Authorities are looking for a man they are calling a "Person of Interest" after a man was found dead in Myrtle Point Wednesday morning.
Just before 9:45 am, a 911 call came in to Coos County about a man who was severely injured at a home on Ash Street in Myrtle Point.
Police and medical personnel arrived and found Lance Lucero, 61, who was suffering from severe injuries.
Lucero was taken to Coquille Valley Hospital, where he died around 10:30 am.
The Coos County District Attorney's office says Lucero died from 'Homicidal Violence.'
District Attorney Paul Fraiser says police have developed a person of interest in the case, and identified him as Ladd Stewart Robson, 54.
Robson is believed to be the victim's half brother.
Authorities say Robson was last seen in the Myrtle Point area Wednesday morning, and is believed to be driving a white Chevy panel van with Oregon license plate number 085EHD.
Officials say Robson is believed to have lived in Vida, Oregon recently.
If you see Robson, you are asked to call your local police immediately, but do not approach him.
