Devereux Center looks for volunteers

COOS BAY, Ore. – The Nancy Devereux Center is looking for volunteers to help with their work in the community.

They say they need someone for the front desk and a couple assistant cooks.

If that’s not your area of expertise, there are other volunteer positions available.

The Devereux Center is on Newmark Avenue. It’s open four days a week.

“We don't need anybody with special skills, just willingness to work and someone who is willing to accept our clients where they're at and not be judgmental. Someone who is kind and compassionate and willing to hear their stories and where they're at in their life,” said Tara Johnson, executive director of the Nancy Devereux Center.

Contact the Devereux Center for more information.
