FBI: Man with 'dork' tattooed on his throat wanted on warrant out of Eugene
EUGENE, Ore. - A man with ties to Eugene made violent threats to kill people during phone calls to the FBI in early April, the FBI said.
A federal judge in Eugene issued a warrant April 24 for the arrest of Shawn Fredrick Weatherhead on a charge of interstate communication of a threat to injure a person of another, the FBI said.
"Weatherhead allegedly contacted the FBI's Public Access Line (PAL) over 750 times since December of 2015, from locations in Oregon and Nevada," according to an FBI bulletin. On at least three occasions, between April 1 and April 2, 2017, Weatherhead allegedly threatened to kill people during his calls.
Weatherhead, 45, should be considered armed and dangerous, the FBI said.
"Weatherhead is a transient who has ties to the Eugene, Oregon, and Reno, Nevada, areas," the agency said. "He has made violent threats against law enforcement and is known to carry a switch-blade knife. He is believed to be a user of illegal narcotics."
The FBI asks anyone with information about Weatherhead's whereabouts to contact the FBI.
The FBI said Weatherhead has previously worked as a tattoo artist. He has multiple tattoos all over his body, including on his forehead, chin, arm, wrist, hand, right leg and back. Weatherhead has the word "dork" tattooed along his throat, the FBI said.
The FBI said Weatherhead is known to go by aliases, including Shawn Frederick Aubuchon, Shawn Fredrick Aubuchon, Shawn Auhuchon, Shawn Weatherhead, Shawn F. Weatherhead, Shawn Frederic Weatherhead and Shawn Frederick Weatherhead.
