Freeze warning in effect for central Oregon Coast

COOS BAY, Ore. -- The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning for the central Oregon coast which is expected to last until late Monday night to Tuesday morning.

A freeze warning means that temperatures could fall into the lower 30's for the immediate coastline. The NWS said that the weather will be coldest just inland of the coast.

Officials say the freezing temperatures could impact sensitive plants and crops, and outdoor pipes could freeze.
