High schoolers compete at South Coast Skills Day in Coquille

COQUILLE, Ore. -- Students from the south coast got a chance to compete against each other Thursday.

Coquille High School hosted the 42nd annual South Coast Skills Day for high schoolers.

Students from 13 high schools competed this year in everything from math to music to welding.

Winners received three credit tuition waivers to Southwestern Oregon Community College.
