Jordan Cove preps new application to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
NORTH BEND, Ore. -- Jordan Cove is preparing an application to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission at the end of this quarter to move forward with its LNG project.
The senior project adviser for Jordan Cove says they will be submitting their application to FERC by the end of this month.
"These are very thorough applications and it's been heavily reviewed and it builds up work we've done over the past 12 years,” Jordan Cove LNG senior project advisor Bob Braddock said, “so we believe it's pretty complete and should be a pretty fast paced process for FERC to work their way through it."
Braddock says by this time next year, he expects FERC will issue the permits and certificates necessary for their approval on the project.
