Man charged in sex abuse case may be released

COQUILLE, Ore. -- A man charged in a sex abuse case involving a child was back in court for a release hearing Thursday morning.

Jesse Housego, 18, allegedly recorded a girl naked and in a sexually explicit manner on three separate occasions last year.

According to the District Attorney, Housego was living with the family of the victim at the time of the incidents.

If Housego pays the court $5,000 cash, he will be released to his parents.

The judge ordered he live with his father or another approved adult because several young children live with his mother.

If he is released, Housego cannot have contact with anyone under 18-years-old, or with the victim or her family, and he cannot use the internet.
