KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - A man found dead on the side of a rural road Monday night prompted a hunt for two wanted men, including one already wanted on charges of attacking a police officer.
Investigators called the death of Chen Sio Saechao, 28, a homicide.
The former Portland man was found dead on South Chiloquin Road near Highway 62 in northern Klamath County just before 8 p.m. Monday.
The Klamath County Major Crime released photographs of two people of interest in the case Tuesday, along with a plea for the public's help.
One of the men, David Guy Mogelberg, 33, of Klamath Falls, is also wanted on a felony warrant for assaulting a public safety officer, authorities said. Mogelberg is 5-foot-5, 155 pounds with substantial neck tattoos, investigators said.
The second man wanted for questioning in connection with the homicide investigation has not been identified.
The two may be traveling with a third unidentified person, authorities said.
The people of interest were last seen traveling in a blue 1990s Jeep Cherokee, possibly with Arkansas or Arizona license plates. The vehicle has mismatched rims: The front rims are black, the rear right rim is silver in color, and the left rear rim is 5-spoke and white in color.
Investigators urged the public not to approach the persons of interest or the vehicle. If you are in the Klamath Falls area and see Mogelberg, the other suspect or the Jeep, you are asked to call 911.
