Man with gun robs bank on NYE

MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - A man with a gun robbed a bank just before 5 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

The suspect showed a firearm and a note demanding money to the teller at the US Bank on North Main Street in Myrtle Creek around 4:52 p.m. Monday, police said. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Multiple agenices responded to the scene, but the suspect got away.

The suspect is a white man in his 30s or 40s, about 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1, 165 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a black stocking cap, heavy gray outer coat, black sweat shirt, black sweat pants and white tennis shoes.
