Motown coming to the coast
NORTH BEND, Ore. -- The Little Old Opry on the bay opens it's summer season this weekend, with a 'Twist.'
We 'Heard it Through the Grapevine,' it's Motown weekend at the little theater on the bay.
Director Shirley Kinter says it's something a little different. "Right now, it's Motown. We're doing Little Ole Opry Does Motown."
The variety show features singing, dancing and even a little comedy.
From Stevie Wonder to Diana Ross, the show features Motown classics.
Kinter says she hopes lots of people will come enjoy the show. "Please, I really want people to come out and enjoy this show. It's so worth coming out and seeing. If you have family in town, what a wonderful way to introduce them to the coast here."
The show is at 7:00 pm Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
Organizers say it will be a foot stompin' good time. "You're gonna want to get up and dance, you're going to leave with a smile. It's really a great show. Always is."
And, Good Golly Miss Molly, it does look like it will be a fun show... Signed, sealed and delivered.
