North Bend man arrested after authorities spot him in stolen vehicle
NORTH BEND, Ore. -- A North Bend man was arrested Thursday after police recalled seeing him in a vehicle that was later reported stolen, Coos County Sheriff's Office said.
Around 11:20 a.m., deputies were investigating a stolen vehicle, which had been reported to the North Bend Police Department.
Deputies located 20-year-old Adam Michael Bolda, of North Bend, walking away from where the vehicle was left near the end of Haynes Way Lane in North Bend.
A deputy had observed Bolda driving the vehicle earlier in the morning before the car was reported stolen, the report said.
Bolda was taken into custody for unauthorized use of a vehicle as well as an outstanding arrest warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of burglary tools and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
Bolda was transported to the Coos County Jail, held on $75,000 bail.
The vehicle was returned to the owner.
