The six members of the US Youth Team won a gold medal and a silver medal at the International Culinary Olympics in Germany.
Their instructor, Woojay Poynter, also won a gold medal.
Overall, the students ranked fifth out of 26 countries.
Team captain, Edalyn Garciam, says they trained for this competition for two years.
"Even though we are the Youth Team, we trained as if we were the National Team, we trained on a national level," Garcia said.
Even before they left for Germany, each student got at least one job offer.
