A Talent man is dead after a crash just south of Medford Thursday afternoon.

Troopers responded to a reported motorcycle crash on I-5 near milepost 26 northbound just south of Medford in Jackson County.

Officials say 65-year-old Raleigh Rodrigues was driving a 2001 Chevrolet pickup, and 25-year-old Kevin Mayo was operating a Yamaha motorcycle. Both men were from Talent.

Troopers say the men engaged in a road rage incident that started several miles prior to the crash. Troopers say Rodrigues intentionally swerved, forcing Mayo off the road. Mayo was transported to the hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

Rodrigues was arrested on charges of manslaughter.
