'Plan on difficult travel conditions': Snow in forecast for SW Oregon
ROSEBURG, Ore. - Snow is possible Tuesday afternoon overnight into Wednesday for eastern Douglas County and much of Southwest Oregon.
"Heavy snow above 2500 feet expected. Light to moderate snow above 2000 feet expected," the National Weather Service in Medford said in a Winter Storm Warning. "Total snow accumulations above 2500 feet 3 to 6 inches inches with localized amounts up to 10 inches are expected. Snow accumulations above 2000 feet of 1 to 3 inches with localized amounts of 5 inches possible."
The Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the eastern Douglas County Foothills, including Tiller Trail Highway.

"Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute on Tuesday," forecasters cautioned. "Look for significant reductions in visibility at times."
The heaviest snowfall is forecast to happen between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday.
