NORTH BEND, Ore. -- A California felon has been arrested in North Bend, police department officials said.

According to North Bend PD, Floyd Bertram Andrews of Antioch, Calif., was arrested on multiple warrants issued out of Antioch for charges related to felon in possession of a firearm, burglary and armed robbery.

The charges stemmed from an incident where shots had been fired during a 2013 theft, police said.

Upon receiving information from Antioch authorities that Andrews was possibly staying in the Coos Bay/North Bend area, surveillance was conducted on a residence in the Airport Heights area of North Bend.

Police say around 4 p.m. on August 2, there was a confirmed sighting of Andrews.

North Bend Police, Oregon State Police and Coos County Sheriff's Office all responded and a perimeter was established.

According to the report, after commands were given to Andrews, he exited the residence following a brief standoff.

Police say he walked out of the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.

Andrews was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was lodged, pending extradition.
