COOS BAY, Ore. -- Police arrested a man on charges of trespassing and public indecency Wednesday in Coos Bay.

The Coos County Sheriff's Office says 911 callers reported a suspicious person on the railroad tracks adjacent to Highway 101 near Millington.

A sheriff’s deputy in the area spotted 27-year-old Jiahston Jones standing on the railroad tracks.

"He was in full view of the public with his hands inside of his pants fondling himself," the police report.

Jones, who police say was trespassing on the railroad line, was approached by the deputy.

After investigating, he was arrested and charged with first degree criminal trespass and public indecency.

He was transported to Coos County Jail and released on his own recognizance, the report said.
