Police: Search turns up 6 stolen firearms, including assault rifles

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - Springfield Police serving a search warrant Thursday located 6 stolen firearms, including three assault rifles.

Police searched Space 22 at 2145 31st St. as part of an ongoing investigation.

Officers located 18 firearms; 6 were confirmed stolen, including 3 assault rifles. The weapons were taken from both in and outside of Lane County, police said.

Officers also found a thousand rounds of ammunition and a ballistic vest.

Police booked Juan Carlos Guerrero-Rodriguez into the Lane County Jail on 6 counts of Theft 1 (Receiving).
