BANDON, Ore. -- A man found dead on July 4 at an Oregon state park has been identified, but authorities are withholding the name for now.

Investigators used fingerprint technology to identify the man's body found at Bullards Beach State Park on July 4.

However, as of July 14, police said they will not release the person's name.

Police are still investigating the cause and manner of death and they are trying to locate next of kin, according to a news release.
