Ripped off at the pump: Masked driver robs gas station at gunpoint

CORVALLIS, Ore. - A driver in a ski mask pointed a handgun at a gas station attendant and forced him to open the cash drawer before driving off.

The robber pulled the gun as the Shell Gas station employee approached a truck that had pulled into the station just after 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

There is no self-serve gasoline at regular Oregon stations, so gas station employees pump gas for all customers.

The suspect was described as 6-feet tall, wearing a ski mask, hooded sweatshirt and a tan work jacket. The suspect's vehicle was a 2004 to 2008 model white Ford F150 extended cab pickup.

If you any information regarding this robbery, you are asked to contact Detective Christy Molina at (541) 766-6782.
