Sheriff: Coos Bay woman arrested after pushing, spitting on husband
COOS BAY, Ore. -- A Coos Bay woman was arrested following a domestic disturbance, part of which was caught on video, Coos County Sheriff's Office said.
Around 1:40 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a residence on Coos River Highway for a report of a domestic dispute between 40-year-old Amanda Matusz and her husband, which occurred the night prior on December 30.
Video evidence was located on the phone of a family member documenting part of the incident, police said.
The evidence showed Amanda Matusz pushing and spitting on her husband, police said.
The argument reportedly began after her husband told her he was filing for divorce and had begun the paperwork.
Based on video evidence and victim statements, Amanda Matusz was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic harassment and one count of harassment.
Matusz was transported to the Coos County Jail where she was booked and lodged in lieu of $15,000 bail.
