All aboard: South Coast Train Club presents annual display in North Bend
NORTH BEND, Ore. – Many are expected to get on board this weekend as the South Coast Train Club sends out a call to all children and children at heart.
The public is invited to visit Pony Village Mall in North Bend to take a look at train models and display at the group’s annual event.
The event also features more than 3,000 historical pictures for sale.
"Most of us had train sets as children and it's just something we continue; we all enjoy it,” South Coast Train Club’s Peter Brandt says. “Think about your own childhood when you used to play with trains and come in and see what's new."
You can check out the trains from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Sunday.
The pictures will be on display and for sale through Christmas eve.
