The Oregon Department of Transportation says many of the fatal crashes are due to unsafe riding speeding, following too close and abrupt lane changes.
The department is urging motorcyclist to ride safely, and it's reminding all vehicle drivers to share the road with motorcycles.
There were a total of 33 motorcycle deaths in the state last year and 51 in 2012.
