High School Football Preview 2017: Crescent Valley Raiders
Corvallis, Ore. - With a healthy Talanoa Hufanga, the sky is the limit for Crescent Valley in 2017. One of the state's top prospects, Hufanga did it all for the Raiders last season before suffering an injury midway through the year. A player who head coach Scott Sanders simply describes as "electric," Hufanga has offers from essentially every major college football program in America. Entering his senior season, he'll move to Wide Receiver on offense after playing the previous few seasons at Quarterback. The Raiders, who nearly knocked off eventual 5A state champion Lebanon early last season, return a vast majority of their varsity roster, so despite a 1-5 league finish in 2016, expect them to be a major player in the 5A Mid-Willamette this year.
