WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WXLV) — A North Carolina man is facing criminal charges after police said he filmed and participated in sexual acts with dogs, then sold videos of those acts.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office arrested 42-year-old Timothy Lewis Blackmon of Winston-Salem on the allegations.
The department says they received a tip on Monday that a resident in the county was using an app on his phone to sell videos of himself participating in the acts.
After a brief investigation, detectives say they issued a search warrant for Blackmon on Thursday.
Detectives say, during the search warrant, two dogs were seized by Animal Services Division deputies and placed into protective custody.
The department says the dogs are safe in the custody of the Forsyth Humane Society.
They say Blackmon was taken into custody Thursday night and charged with two counts of felony crime against nature.
He is at the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center and the department says he'll be facing more charges.
