Retiring Senator: Trump sleeps 4 to 5 hours a night; Peyton Manning could run for office
There may be a reason President Donald Trump is tweeting at 3 in the morning: he's getting a sleep regiment of four to five hours a night, according to Sen. Bob Corker (R- Tennessee).
"I don't think people fully appreciate the kind of relationship that we have," the senator began.
Corker, who recently announced his retirement, spoke of his relationship with the president Wednesday afternoon.
"I've gotten to know Ivanka and Jared and others very well," he said.
"He truly just calls me sometimes to commiserate."
"The guy gets 4, 5 hours a night of sleep period."
Corker went on to describe the president as a "ubiquitous" phone caller
"We have a unique relationship."
Speculating as to who could run for his seat, Corker suggested someone like NFL legend Peyton Manning could be a possibility, though warned people shouldn't expect that.
"If he were to run nobody in their right mind would consider running against him," he said.
"Peyton Manning is the kind of guy that would be great in public office."
