"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth had to cut a Baywatch-style beach video short when he was attacked by a mad dog.

The hunky actor was showing off his ripped physique while running barefoot and topless in the sand when a wild mutt came from nowhere and decided to try to make him breakfast.

The 33-year-old has posted the footage of himself running into the ocean on Instagram, explaining the abrupt ending in the caption: "I had to cut the video short because this wild dog ripped my legs to pieces, but as a great man once said, 'I'll be back'."

He added: "Watch out for wild dogs."

The actor also shared a photo of himself as the growling canine stood a few feet away from him, assuring fans the hound attack wasn't something to worry about.

He captioned the shot: "My legs are fine."
