21-year-old student at University of Oregon passes away in off-campus home Friday
EUGENE, Ore. - A student at the University of Oregon died at his off-campus residence on Friday.
The Eugene-Springfield Metro Fire responded to a call in the 400-block of East 13th Avenue before noon on Friday, finding a 21-year-old student who passed away and was located at approximately 11:46 a.m. according to emergency call logs.
The University of Oregon Spokesman, Tobin Klinger, said in a statement sent to fraternity and sorority leadership, that the student was a fraternity member.
So far, the student's name has not been released by the University, and Klinger urged students to take care of themselves and seek help if needed.
