Annual Blessing of the Fleet set for Monday morning in Charleston
CHARLESTON, Ore. -- Organizers are preparing for the annual Blessing of the Fleet.
The ceremony honors local men and women who have lost their lives at sea.
Three names will be added to the Lost at Sea plaque -- Jerry Barkley from the Patty AJ, Raymundo Cardoso from the Sara Jo and Joshua Paulus from the Eagle III.
20 names will be added to other plaques in memory of Charleston fishermen and those who worked in the fishing industry.
The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Charleston Marina.
