Boys & Girls Club, Ross team up to 'Help Local Kids Learn'
COOS BAY, Ore. -- Local kids are getting some help with their academics.
A four-week program called "Help Local Kids Learn" is a partnership between the Boys and Girls Clubs and Ross stores.
The program is aimed at helping the Boys & Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon continue to provide programs to the community.
The store's customers can make a contribution at the Pony Village Mall’s Ross location, which will be donated to the club this month.
"Ross has partnered with the Boys and Girls Club to provide funding for our ‘Power Hour: Making Minutes Count’ program, which is an after-school program for 6 to 18 year olds where they have access to homework help, tutoring and high learning activities throughout our facilities," said the club’s Annabel Taylor.
Taylor says all of the proceeds raised at each store will benefit local Boys & Girls Clubs.
