Coos Bay BEST: $60 million school bond measure officially passes by 28 votes

COOS BAY, Ore. -- It's official - a bond measure for Coos Bay School District schools was approved by 28 votes, election officials said.

The nearly $60 million measure will fund the improvement of buildings in the district.

That includes renovations and brand-new construction with a timeline for completion set for three years.

School officials will meet this week to discuss ways to navigate students and classrooms during construction.
