Coos History Museum holds 1st Annual Holiday Open House

COOS BAY, Ore. -- The Coos History Museum hosted a little party over the weekend.

The museum held its first annual Holiday Open House.

Folks got a chance to enjoy kids activities as well as free admission to the museum all day Saturday.

About 14 local vendors were on hand to display their crafts, accompanied by live music.

"The museum is all about community and artists that are here today, the vendors and all the local people,” said museum executive director Susan Tissot, “basically, this is an opportunity to encourage people to shop local."
