Crabbing along the entire Oregon coast is now facing more delays.

The Dungeness crabbing season was supposed to open December 1.

Now, officials from Oregon Department of Agriculture and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife say testing shows crabs are too low in meat.

They say they're delaying the season to make sure customers are getting the highest quality products.

They say they'll do a second round of testing in a few weeks.

Those results will determine if the season will open on December 16 or be delayed further.
