Earthquake shakes off Southwest Oregon coast
PISTOL RIVER, Ore. – Residents on the southern Oregon coast might have felt a bit of trembling Friday morning.
A small, 3.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded about 81.7 miles off the coast near Pistol, River Ore.
The earthquake was 125 miles southwest of Coos Bay, Ore. and 245 miles southwest of Salem.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake was 10 kilometers below Earth’s surface.
