COQUILLE, Ore. - With some positive economic signs, the First Community Credit Union branch in Coquille is expanding.
The company announced it's plans at a groundbreaking ceremony.
They are adding more than 16,000 square feet and another three stories to to the current building.
The CEO said it's a positive time for economy - and for the company's growth.
"This investment in the credit union, in the community, is to promise our 300 employees that their future here is solid, includes growth and career expansion," CEO David Elmer said. "By the time our project here is complete, in two years, we'll have added 10 more jobs."
Construction will start late next week.
