League of Women Voters of Coos County holds forum on Measure 101's rural impact

COOS BAY, Ore. -- The League of Women Voters of Coos County is hosting an informational forum on the impact of Ballot Measure 101 on rural areas.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 4, at 7 p.m. in the Myrtlewood Room at the Coos Bay Library, located at 525 Anderson Avenue.

Presenters will be Phil Greenhill, Chief Executive Officer of Western Oregon Advanced Health, and Carla McKelvey, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer of Coast Community Health Center and Vice-Chair of the Oregon Health Policy Board.

The public is invited and will have the opportunity to ask questions.

"The League of Women Voters of Coos County is a non-partisan organization and provides this informational forum as a voters’ service project to encourage active and informed participation in government," the organization said in a news release.
