An Oregon man was arrested in Arizona Tuesday with 250 pounds of cannabis packed into Home Depot shipping boxes.

The load has an estimated street value of $750,000, according to the Navajo County Sheriff's Office.

Suspect Justin Roper, 33, of Cottage Grove, Oregon, was on his way to Texas in a car he rented in Eugene when he was stopped by local authorities on Interstate-40. NCSO Deputy Deets and his K9 partner, Legend, pulled over the care, and observed that the car was filled with Home Depot boxes.

Legend then alerted to the car - which indicates that there is contraband on board - and is was discovered that the boxes were filled with cannabis, and not the household items they were labeled as.

Roper was booked in to the Navajo County Jail for Transportation of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana for Sale.
