Police: 23-year-old man dies from gunshot wound in Roseburg
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Douglas County authorities are investigating the death a man who died Friday from a gunshot wound, Douglas County Sheriff's Office said.
On Friday, November 17, at 10:07 a.m., a 911 call was received reporting a shooting at a residence in the 300 block of Temple Brown Road in Roseburg.
Deputies and EMS responded to find a 23-year-old man with a critical gunshot wound, police said.
The man was transported to Mercy Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, the report said.
Detectives are continuing their investigation, but "primary indications are this is an accidental self-inflicted incident," the sheriff's office said.
Additional details will not be released until Monday morning, police said.
