Police: Roseburg man steals flag from car lot; police use taser to take him into custody

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg man had to be tasered by police before he was taken into custody following the theft of a flag, police said.

According to a Roseburg Police Department report, 36-year-old Brian Ray Delsie allegedly stole a flag from the Full Throttle Used Cars lot on NE Stephens and then fled from officers on his bicycle.

Police say he then fought with officers when he was stopped.

Delsie was tasered and eventually taken into custody, the report said.

He was arrested and lodged at the county jail, charged with third degree theft, resisting arrest, second degree escape and parole violation.
