Razor clamming reopens on Oregon coast

COOS Bay, Ore. -- Razor clamming has reopened along the Oregon coast.

The Oregon Department of Agriculture reports the toxic levels in shellfish have gone down and are safe to eat.

Domoic acid is produced by algae in medium to high doses.

Symptoms include memory loss and can even lead to death.
