It's been just over one year since 34-year-old Ramon Harris was gunned down outside a Beaverton strip club. The Washington County Sheriff's Office is now asking the public for help in solving the case.

Harris was shot multiple times outside the Xpose Club on Southwest Canyon Road at about 1:30 a.m. on May 19 2017. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

The suspect or suspects took off before deputies arrived at the scene. Investigators said that several potential witnesses also left before law enforcement could get statements. Harris's family is now hoping those witnesses will come forward.

"Please come forward," said Harris's mother, Renee Harris. "I want justice for Ramon because Ramon was a good guy, a great dad, brother, son, uncle and a friend. He didn't deserve that."

"Do something," said Ronald Harris, Ramon's uncle. "Make a move, put it on a rock and throw it at the door or something."

Detectives believe the shooting could be gang-related but family members say Harris wasn't involved in a gang.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information, call 503-823-HELP (4357) or submit a tip online.
