GRANTS PASS, Ore. — UPDATE (Jan 18, 2019) -
The two people who died in a Motel 6 room on Wednesday have been identified by the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety.
Christopher Hotch, 31, of Grants Pass, and Monica Snow, 37, of Grants Pass, were found dead just before 1 p.pm. on January 16th. Next of kin of both have been notified.
The cause of death has yet to be determined by the medical examiner's office.

Two people were found dead inside of a motel room in Grants Pass on Wednesday afternoon.
Police tell News 10 they received a call from employees of the Motel 6 on NE 7th Street just before 1 p.m. Employees told Police they found two people inside one of the rooms, both believed to be deceased.
Maintenance workers forced the door of the room open to allow Grants Pass Police officers entry to the room.
Officers located a 31-year-old male and 37-year-old female, both of Grants Pass, deceased.
The cause of death of both individuals has yet to be determined, however, Police say the incident is being investigated as a potential drug overdose.
Names of the deceased will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
