COOS BAY, Ore. -- An unoccupied home caught fire in Coos Bay Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
Shortly after 4:20 p.m., Coos Bay Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 1808 Cottonwood Avenue.
Firefighters found light smoke coming from the unoccupied house.
They made entry and discovered a small fire developing in a back bedroom.
Officials say it was extinguished within seven minutes of arrival by the first units.
Crews remained on scene for another hour ventilating the structure of built up smoke and investigating
Officials say no injuries have been reported.
Coos Bay Police Department assisted. The cause is still under investigation.
