COOS BAY, Ore. -- School is just around the corner, and the water in the Coos Bay School District is good to go, officials said.

Last week, the district said they finished lead testing in the drinking water at the district's facilities.

Samples were taken from water used for cooking and drinking at each building.

Officials said lead levels registered well below Oregon Health Authority’s maximum contaminate level.

No additional action will be needed, officials said.
