Woman arrested after crashing car into power pole, causing Roseburg power outage

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Power was out and traffic slowed in one area of Roseburg early Tuesday morning after a car crashed into a power pole on Stephens Street.

Police say 19-year-old Ashley Colleen Osborne ran off the road around 3 a.m., striking the pole and flipping the car on its side.

Osborne was not injured, but she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and minor in possession of marijuana, police said.

According to Pacific Power, the crash caused a power outage for more than 1,700 people Tuesday morning.
