Dad Bod fanny pack gives 'beer belly' a new meaning
Designed to represent a “beer belly”, the DadBag is a fanny pack intended to spread body positivity to dads everywhere.
Albert Pukies is reportedly the 27-year-old from London who invented the viral fanny pack.
“My inspiration was seeing all the posts about dad bods being cool,” he told HuffPost.
The term “Dadbod” refers to a beer belly trend that has gone viral in the past several years.
“I think people want them because of that reason,” Pukies told HuffPost. “You can have a dad bod without any health issues.”
The clever design is certainly unique, and Pukies, being an art director, made various styles of the fabric pouch.
While it might have started as a joke, Pukies now thinks the DadBag could become a reality.
“It’s obviously meant to be funny but I do want to produce them,” Pukies explained to HuffPost.
Will we be seeing people carrying these bags in the future?
“I’m looking for manufacturers at the moment,” he told HuffPost.
