EUGENE, Ore. - You might have seen the creepy crawly perched atop the Goodwill on Green Acres in Eugene.

Or the store on Seneca ...

... or on Main Street in Springfield ...

... or even Broadway in North Bend.

What gives?

Goodwill deployed the inflatable arachnids in a play to draw attention to the thrift store's Halloween costume options.

"Shoppers can purchase a unique Halloween look for less and feel good about helping individuals in their community find a job," said Libby Steffen-Schafermeyer, spokesperson for Goodwill Industries of Lane and South Coast Counties.
