VIDEO: Lara Trump on school safety, tax reform and the president's reelection bid
WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump says she's not surprised at his early announcement to run for reelection.
"He's got a lot on his plate, a lot that he wants to accomplish," she told Sinclair Broadcast Group Tuesday. Lara is married to the president's son Eric.
One of the issues he hopes to tackle includes making schools safer.
"I think the president is willing to look at this from many different perspectives, and I give him a lot of credit for that," she said.
"Because I don’t think there’s one hard-and-fast answer here. I think he’s open to talking to people, hearing all sides and coming to a decision."
