Motorists experience delays on road to Red Top Pond
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Those planning a trip to Red Top Pond should expect some delays.
The Bureau of Land Management said Friday the road to Red Top Pond will experience delays for the next two weeks.
Trucks will be in and out because of the timber harvest.
BLM says they wants people to be safe as they head toward the site.
"If you're planning to head up there, just be careful and be aware,” said BLM’s Cheyne Rossbach. “There's currently flaggers there. The public can expect up to 30-minute delays heading up there, and there's also signage."
Bureau officials want to remind people to take warm clothes, water, and extra food when visiting recreation sites.
